Dahabaya - دهباية

The owner was very fond of the traditional Sudanese bridal wear, and that's where the inspiration for this painting came from; the beautiful Dahabaya - دهاباية (a known beautiful Sudanese young woman) dressed with the full traditional bridal jewelry covering her head with Firka -  فركة (a satin cloth with Sudanese traditional designs) entering her new home a tent made of Birish- بيرش (braided dry palm tree leaves) filled with the scent of sandal wood from the clay traditional holder.
