H.H. Dr. Sultan AlGasimy Wooden Slate Gift- لوح هدية الشيخ د. سلطان القاسمي

The design is inspired by "Khalawe," the first form of education in United Arab Emirates and Sudan, which was led by a qualified mentor named "Elshiekh" to teach Quran. Boys used a wooden stick and a wooden slate called "Loah" for writing, similar to the one used for painting in this design. The painting was commissioned by SEDCO, a Sudanese non-profit organization supporting education, with a branch in UAE funded by H.H. Dr. Sultan AlGasimy, the ruler of Sharjah emirate.

At the backside of the wooden slate there is a thank you note from SEDCO to H.H. Dr. Sultan.

A slight variation in color shade, design or sizes selected by you is considered as a normal practice in hand painted or crafted products.

Painting care instructions:

• Hanging instructions: The wooden slate are best to be hung on walls with a clear distance of 40cm clear at the 4 sides.

      We advise placing this note at the back of one of the paintings to show the story to  your guests.
