Dahabaya at Addis Painting- لوحة دهبايه في اديس
The painting tells the story of the legendry Dahabaya - دهباية (a known inspirational beautiful Sudanese young woman)
The art piece is also inspired by the costumer’s Sudanese- Ethiopian mixed heritage. The Dahabaya is dressed with the full Ethiopian traditional dress and jewelry-the Amhara golden rounded necklace and head piece. Inside a tent made of Birish- بيرش (braided straw) shown at the background as the unique scent of sandal wood fills the air from the traditional Ethiopian clay coal diffuser and Hyge Aromatics Gum cent "صمغ هيغ أروماتيكس" burning above the char coal, beside the coffee brewing inside the traditional Ethiopian clay pot on the traditional clay oven.
Materials: Non-toxic acrylic paint, diluted gold dust powder, 3D liquid liners on a wooden board.
The silk effect paintings give different shades of colors from each view angle.
Care instructions: Wipe clean with a dry cotton cloth.
Hanging instructions: Best be be hung on a wall with a min. clear area of 70cm surrounding it from the (4) sides.
