Al Subyah Ceremony Painting- لوحة الصبحية
The painting is inspired by the “Sobhiya ceremony - الصبحيه” which is one of the most defining and joyful Sudanese wedding ceremonies.
This painting exemplifies the joyful spirit of Al Sobhiya with the dancing bride in the “Birish-“برش made of breaded stained dry palm leave and exited groom carrying her “Firka- فركة” and decorated sword in his other hand the center surrounded by the singing and cheering wedding guests under the decorated tent and scent of Bakhoor - بخور (woodchip soaked in perfume and burnt on charcoal).
The painting in part of a collection of (3) paintings- all share the same size and colors but tell diffrent storis from the Sudanese folklore.
Materials: Non-toxic acrylic paint, diluted gold dust powder, 3D liquid liners on a wooden board.
Care instructions: Wipe clean with a dry cotton cloth.
Hanging instructions: Best be be hung on a wall with a min. clear area of 60cm surrounding it from the (4) sides.
