As per the owners passion for the Girtig traditional wedding ceremony uniquely arranged only for Sudanese weddings ,and inspired by the “Girtig” pots and brass large tray owned previously by my late grandmother Sitana Bedri owned before by her legendary late father Babiker Bedri ,which were used for most family members.
The painting shows the tray placed in a table covered by the "Garmasees" silk cloth and beside it shows part of Angareeb- "عنقريب" traditional wooden bed where the bride and groom sit during the ceremony.
Inside the tray are positioned a pair of “Hugs” “wooden painted containers with a unique shape for storing the herbs used during the ceremony and a colored clay traditional scent holder “mubakhir” and the other clay pot with a cover for storying the sandal wood before burning, and the perfumes spared by the groom among his celebrating guests, and the dates bole he throws to the guests too, two glasses of milk bride and groom spray playfully at each other, with the traditionally necklaces, the head piece worm by the groom "الحريرة" at the central decorated bowel , in addition to few jewelry which will be presented to the bride from the groom's family. At the background shows the tent walls made of breaded dry palm leaves "برش".

Care instructions: Wipe clean with a dry cloth if required.
Placing instructions: It’s advised to hang on the wall with a “clips frame” containing min. (8) aluminum clips at the sides and a cardboard sheet at the back, without a glass cover to enjoy the relief art created with the 3D paint, considering min. 50cm surrounding clear distance for each of the four sides. Or place on a dining table but ensure no liquids will reach it.
