Dahabaya wa Al-Tanbour - دهبايه و الطنبور
The Dahabaya bride gracefully dances to the melodic tunes of Al Tanbour, a traditional Sudanese music instrument. She sways side to side, holding her Thoab, a women's over garment, while the Firka, a satin cloth used in wedding ceremonies, covers her face. As she moves, the scent of freshly brewed coffee from the Jabana, a Sudanese coffee pot, fills the air.
Materials: Non-toxic acrylic paint, diluted gold dust powder, 3D liquid liners on Buckthorn wooden slates.
